Eligibility

Little League eligibility is determined by proof of residency with the LPPLL boundaries, a player’s age and level of experience.  Each division of LLPPL is associated with specific ages and/or playing experience.   For 2017, a player’s little league age is determined by how old he/she is on August 31st of the current season.

Tryouts are held in January, and each player is evaluated on his or her abilities.  Division drafts are held shortly after.  Only players at the T-ball and Rookie levels may request pairing with a specific manager or coach.  Requests will be considered during the draft process but cannot be guaranteed.

All players league age 8 and older must attend at least one tryout.

Majors and AAA are tournament divisions and compete at the end of the season in the Dooley Championship Series (DCS).  The winner of the series goes on to play in the District 7 Tournament of Champions (TOC) series.
