Is softball part of Little League?
Yes, softball is part of Little League and is bound by the policies,
producers, and rules of Land Park Pacific Little League and Little
League Headquarters in Williamsport , PA
When is softball registration?
Early registration starts the end of October. Additional dates will
be posted when they are available.
What are the divisions in softball and the age breakdowns in each
division?
The ages are only a guideline. Final determination is based on
experience and talent.
- Rookie: 5-7
- Minor: 7-12
- Major: 9-12
When are tryouts?
Tryouts will be in January. Specific dates will be posted when they
are available.
Who needs to tryout?
Players eight and older must tryout. Players that are "league-age" 7
that wish to play above the Rookie division may, upon written
request, tryout.
Who should I contact if I have a question about softball?
The softball chairperson is
Mike Splinter. He can answer your
questions about softball.
If I want to be a softball coach, who should I contact?
The League Coaching Coordinator is Scott Filby. For additional

or changed on the Land Park League's web site, Denise will work with
the League's Information Officer.
Where can I find softball policies, rules, and guiding principles
for the Land Park League?
This information is incorporated into the League's
Policy and
Procedures Manual and will be available as soon as the new
Board adopts the 2009 manual.
Where are softball games held?
Dooley Field, Land Park, Reichmuth Park and other area fields
depending on whether or not there will be inter-league play.
