LPPLL Fall Classic -
Back by popular demand, LPP, in cooperation with Sacramento City
College Baseball program, will be offering our Fall Baseball Camp
and Fall Ball Leagues to commence immediately following the Labor
Day weekend. Players do not have to live within the LPP boundaries
to participate. Fall back into baseball and spring ahead at tryouts
in January!
The LPP Baseball Camp is for players' ages 7 - 12
years old. It is lead by Justin Ramsey, Assistant Coach for the
Sacramento City College Panthers. Assisting Coach Ramsey are players
from the SCC baseball team. The camp is a great way to learn and
improve your fundamental baseball skills, including: fielding,
pitching, catching and hitting. The six-week camp runs every Tuesday
and Friday evening from 5:30 to dusk starting September 2 and
running through October 10th at Dooley Field. Cost for the camp is
$80 click
here to register on line. Register for both the Camp and League
for $125.
The LPPLL Fall Baseball League allows players who
aspire to play in either the AAA or the Major Divisions in the 2009
season to improve their skills during the off season. The Fall
League is a great way for players to keep their skills sharp by
playing a game every Sunday afternoon at Dooley Field. The Fall
League is a relaxed atmosphere where players simply play for the
sheer joy and love of the game. The League will start September 7
and run through October 26th. Games are played at Dooley Field in
the afternoon. The League is OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS aspiring to play
AAA or Majors, even those who do not live within the Land Park
Pacific boundaries can participate in the fun. The cost for the
League is $65. Please click
here to register on-line. Register for both the Camp and League
for $125.
The Fall Juniors Baseball League allows players
ages 13 - 15 (even if you don't live within the LPP boundaries) to
continue to play baseball and in the same relaxed atmosphere as the
LPP Fall program for Little Leaguers. Middle School can be one of
the most difficult times for youth, keeping active in sports and in
the company of kids who share the similar interests is a good way to
help adolescents through this sometimes difficult period. Most
middle schools do not offer baseball programs so it is important for
players to maintain their baseball skills if they have any desire to
play on a high school team. The Fall League will play games every
Sunday afternoon starting September 7 through October 26th. The cost
for Fall Juniors League is $65, click
